'Tis your former ENCM webmaster here encouraging you to drop your daily devotionals, and thoughts and comments on those of others, into the blog. We need a way for the people of God to stay active and in touch with one another over the summer and impart and encourage each other. So in addition to your Facebook, cellphone, and instant messages, this is a way that you can get more in depth and maybe even have a bible study by proxy.
Right now the form is whatever you make it. Nick and I have been taking the daily readings out of the Book of Common Prayer and looking at how these scriptures compare to each other and what they speak to us in our lives today. Trying to make them relevant when they might seem like they aren't. You can find the daily readings from the BOE online at several websites, I especially prefer this one: www.missionstclare.com
However, if you are reading through a different scripture or devotional book, or just have something that God has laid on your heart, still feel free to post! I would really appreciate it personally if you post the scripture or author that is inspiring your thoughts, that would be a great help. Inspire us all unto greater works in the word. Thanks!
