What is it?

What is it about worship that transports us to a place of no worries and cares? What is it about worship that makes us forget the things we have allowed to divert us from the purposes of God in our life? Maybe because the focus of our attention is our Creator, the Lover of our souls, who delights in us, these other things are made so insignificant. When temptation comes or depression or just the feeling of the doldrums, nothing chases it away like ardent worship. Oh the privilege of approaching the throne of God with confidence!!
